Ships sail on a stormy seas
Tossed through the rage of life
The seeming danger is not to be
These ships were built for higher strife.
Yet the waves render us, steer us
And against the struggles we sail
Our direction is not often clear
We wait to question our fate.
Slammed by the swirling beats
Of horrid waves crashing and winds
We shout for someone to love us
Of hopes never ceasing and longing.
To face the endless blue sea
Forced to realize familiar currents
A rhythm built within us from our faith
Knowing there is hope for us.
