Could it be you…

20140318-155605.jpg

To see your face
Once more in the morning
Before I go,
Marking the days of our lives
Filling our desires,
What is left. But us…
Would my kiss change the mood
Your in….
Change your mind.

From my breath
Where the wind comes in
Like a rustling stream,
It sails with me, carrying us through
Carried by the wind,
Charming hills and trees
And moving winds
Oh how. I could love thee
If you might think of me
Maybe if you could just
Love me, a little.

Softened by your gentleness
Who is this that has comes to me
With such tenderness
In as much as this, this love
Will we share the rest of this life
Warming us these winters
Keeping us from winter winds
These cold winds that blow
Or should I sail on pass?

How could I not
Express what a thousand words
Could not describe,
The wanton love shed
In a flood of my tears,
When I saw you
What an incredible sight.

Who sends theses messages,
To my heart, is it you…
Are you my true love
Could it be you?

      • Maybe God is speaking to you. Maybe he wants you to listen or wants you to hear something maybe an answered prayer .

      • My priest friend said, although he misses my loud laughs and my outgoing personality, now maybe he can put without interruption or Mulligans. Now I find myself listening more intently instead of thinking about the next thing I have to say. I would still choose life over voice anyday. It’s a process, like learning to function after being in a coma for an extended time, you just take it day by day. I am more thankful for each day, so I consider it as another lesson in Life I need to learn. Like most younger people, you learn some lessons the hard way, bc, we were so dang busy and too dang smart to learn them earlier in life when the consequences were less. Good thing my Kids have an endless list of “What I Shouldn’t Do and How this decision will affect my future” All in all, I am still abundantly blessed and a lot more than I could ever deserve. That I believe wholly without a doubt.

      • TY, I was raised and surrounded by strong women and smart men(they listened to their women). Early maturity forced by circumstances of Life. What I perceived as hardships then have developed into blessings over the years. Truly blessed indeed.

Exquisite. Your entire poem made me howl. But these lines from each stanza made me Howl at the Fucking Moon

    To see your face
    Once more in the morning
    Before I go

    From my breath
    Where the wind comes in
    Like a rustling stream

    Softened by your gentleness
Who is this that has comes to me
    With such tenderness

    How could I not
    Express what a thousand words
    Could not describe

    Who sends theses messages,
To my heart, is it you…
    Are you my true love

May I reblog your poem? Please.
