Ahava is the Hebrew word meaning “with love,”
It’s the relationship we have based on love,

The love we share, the unconditional love.
And we are commanded to be mindful of this
Throughout all our days, so that we may be
Loving and tender to ourselves and others.

Ahava is the strong affection
for another arising out of kinship.

The attraction based on sexual desire
It means the affection and tenderness
felt by lovers.

It is the affection based on admiration,
Benevolence, or common interests;
The an assurance of love.

It is the warm attachment, enthusiasm,
And devotion and the object of attachment
For my beloved.

Ahava means my darling, often used
as a term of endearment.

The British use it as an informal term of address
Of unselfish loyalty and benevolent concern
For the good of another.

Lastly, as in the fatherly concern, for all humankind,
and the brotherly concern for others.
