Why I love You – Touch Me

Why do I love you

Because we are the same,

I just do.

Yeah!

Come on, come on, come on
Come on now touch me, baby
Can’t you see that I am not afraid?
What was that promise that you made?
Why won’t you tell me what she said?
What was that promise that you made?

Now, I’m gonna love you
Till the heavens stop the rain
I’m gonna love you
Till the stars fall from the sky for you and I

Come on, come on, come on
Come on now touch me, baby
Can’t you see that I am not afraid?
What was that promise that you made?
Why won’t you tell me what she said?
What was that promise that you made?

I’m gonna love you
Till the heavens stop the rain
I’m gonna love you
Till the stars fall from the sky for you and I

I’m gonna love you
Till the heavens stop the rain
I’m gonna love you
Till the stars fall from the sky for you and I

“Touch Me”
Performed by Jim Morrison,
And The Doors, 1967

Touch Me' performed by The Doors on the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. I've secretly always found Jim Morrison dreamy, and this is why. He gets to into it around the 2 minute mark - perfection.

  1. I loved Jim Morrison music. I still have his cassettes. His music poetry and true. I had many days playing Morrison driving down the highway. Looking for a good place to find. Thank you for the poetry and the songs. Backdoor man and L.A woman are my favorite.

    • I have nothing left. I had the albums and they melted. I wish I had kept the album covers now. And Queen’s too. I miss those guy rock and roll bands, rolling stones, Chicago, Bread, Jefferson Airplane, Fleetwood Mac ,,,ect
