A forever song of life,
Delicate but never weary.

Woven into each other
Of body’s longing for love
With long graceful fingers,
A trace that sanctifies.

Touching quietly, slowly, climbing
To the top of the mountain top
Kissing daffodils to the wind
The serenade of flight
On gossamer wing.

Faces blushing bright
After the sunlight
We slip away.

With hand soft and tender,
Stroking fingers, remember
Sweet guitar humming
On the heart repeating
