Sailing
I write how I love you
On every fold,
Writing the sail into the waves
There goes the captain
His boat into the water,
There my ink swirls away.
Ink is not water proof,
Neither am I, I just write about them
So I sit here sacrificing paper,
Hoping my words will sail
Watching, praying we won’t sink
Were just paper sailors
Writing about sails and ships
With pen and ink.
