“Notice that the stiffest tree is most easily cracked, while the bamboo or willow survives by bending with the wind.”
– Bruce Lee
The happiest people in the world are flexible. They do not have rigid beliefs or try to control and manipulate their surroundings to make them happy.
They are okay with how things are. They accept, they live in the now and they breathe. If you want to have a fulfilling and happy life, be flexible and accept things as they are.
i love this and it is so true –

We all have to bend a little and give but those who don’t will eventually just snap and break because they are just to blind to see. Thank you for reading. Cat

So true! Inflexibility is one of the key components leading to unhappiness. You have to be able to adapt to what life hands you, you have to be willing to be happy during the in between times. In between where you are and what you want times. Because life always happens in the in between and if you are rigidly demanding that life be exactly the way you wanted to be before you will be happy, then you will never be happy. And in the process, you will make everyone around you unhappy too.
