The fury of desire
Is a love quenched not
Unrequited Love.
Yet of hopeful eyes
The shining never ending
Reseeding love compounding
Lovely, my friend always
Sweetly; honestly I do
Pure and innocent as a lamb.
For me to realize my insanity
To realize that I do love you
It was only my fears; I was afraid.
I feared rejection, So I never asked
And now I know, You love me too.
I only sit and wonder
What if you told her she was the one
What if you choose her
From the best of fleece
And if she choose you.
From the flock
Would it still be
Unrequited love.
Unimaginably tender and beautiful. The intimacy and strength of this piece moves me.
